About Landry Football Academy

The Landry Football Academy’s mission is to provide an individual comprehensive plan for those interested in furthering their career in football.

We develop football players at all levels, including youth, high school and college. Our football academy offers the tools and techniques to facilitate our clients’ pursuit of college scholarships and professional careers. The academy’s professional editors create compelling and exciting highlight films for recruiters that maximize your chances of reaching the next level.

The Academy trains and teaches the skills necessary for individuals interested in coaching, scouting and a career in Football Operations at the high school, college and professional level.

During my football career, I’ve had the great fortune of working for some of the best minds in the business, such as Bill Arnsparger, Bill Belichick and Jeff Fisher. They have been extremely instrumental in the development of my football philosophies which are now available for you to benefit.

The Landry Football Academy combines our experience with your history and creates a program that is designed for your individual needs.

Veteran NFL Scout of over 15 years
Served as both a Scout and Scouting Coordinator for the Cleveland Browns, Houston Oilers and Tennessee Titans.
Was involved in drafting such future NFL Stars like Steve McNair, Eddie George, Jevon Kearse, Derrick Mason, Samarri Rolle, Blaine Bishop, Brad Hopkins, and Jon Runyan and signing free agents such as Frank Wycheck and Craig Hentrich all who help lead the Titans to the AFC Championship and a berth in the Super Bowl in 2000.
Former College Coach and Recruiter at LSU involved in signing several players who later became All-Americans.
On the coaching staff of 3 Southeastern Conference Football Championships at LSU
Every Recruiting Class involved in signing was ranked in the TOP 5 Nationally
Former Coordinator of the NFL Scouting Combine
Responsible for organizing and implementing many of the tests and drills associated with the Scouting Combine.
Has served on several committees surrounding the NFL and Major College Football issues.
Currently Serving as a Scouting and Coaching consultant to several NFL teams and Major College Programs.
Was instrumental in recommending several future college coaches before they got head jobs such as Nick Saban, Kirk Ferentz, Pete Carroll, Ralph Freidgen, Jeff Tedford, Urban Meyer, Jim Grobe, Jim Tressell and Bob Stoops.
In the pro game, recommended several assistants for head coaching opportunities such as Andy Reid, Lovie Smith, John Fox, Brian Billick, and Sean Payton .
College Football and NFL Analyst for FOX Sports Radio.
His radio appearances are regularly listed to by many NFL and College coaches and administrators.
Recognized by USA Today as the best Football analyst on radio.
